We have off-grid solar solution which includes solar panel and full battery pack.
What type of windows are you using for the Manta North houses?
We use energy efficient triple glass aluminium windows.
Can you make the wooden stove inside the house?
We don’t offer wood stove as our standard equipment. Burning requires additional oxygen and only stoves with external oxygen supply can be used in our houses. Our houses are highly energy efficient both in terms of thermal conductivity and air tightness. The fresh air is supplied by recuperation.
Can you make windows in the roof?
It is not possible structurally to install windows on the roof.
How do you keep the larger houses heated?
The standard heating is electrical floor heating. The consumption is very low due to its high energy efficiency. However in many regions it is wise using air to air heat-pump.
How energy efficient are your models?
Our houses are A grade energy efficient. Thermal conductivity and air tightness is passive standard.
Would your unit be suitable for wheelchair users? Or adaptable?
We have done a double bedroom model meeting the wheelchair requirements. We can definitely adapt the plan.
How many years they would typically last?
It can last as normal residential house 50+ years. We give our houses 10 year guarantee for structural elements with additional guarantees for different elements.
What kind of ventilation does the homes have?
We have a recuperation system integrated in all of our houses. It secures controlled air flow and has CO2 detector.
Is the furniture included in the price?
Designed kitchen, integrated lightning and lamps are included. Bathroom is fully equipped.
Do you have any approx running costs per annum for heating?
On average the consumption is around 15kWh/m2 annualy.
Which kind of insulate do you use?
We use high-performance insulation PIR panels 120mm.
Do you use anything to protect the structure from corrosion?
All metal elements are galvanized and the rest of the structure is wooden.
What about water resistance? Is the wood getting grey?
Facade is water resistant thermally treated wood. In case you choose black stained facade, it stays like this for several years before it needs to be repainted. If it is left untreated “natural” it will get light grey in colour eventually.
